Metabolic wastes and toxins accumulate in body, which induces skin itching. Skin itching annoys a lot to patients, causes sleeping problem, and affects a lot to life quality. Patients should avoid scratching skin. Otherwise, it may damage skin and leaves chances for the occurrence of skin infection, which will aggravate the condition.

Besides skin itching, the aged with purpura nephritis tends to catch bedsores. As aged people have a relatively poor blood circulation. Long-time staying in bed causes continuous state of ischemia of focal soft tissues and induces bedsores. Therefore, patients need to change lying positions frequently to avoid bedsores.

Diet care

A bland and balanced diet is proper. It is necessary to avoid foods which tends to cause allergy and makes the condition worse, such as fish, crab, shrimp, pollen, milk, etc.. Take more fresh vegetables and fruits. Leave far away with alcohol and cIGArette.

Balance between exercise and rest

Take some proper exercises to reinforce habitus, which helps resist the invasion of bacteria and virus. Meanwhile, pay attention to keep warm, which helps prevent cold. Cold could worsen the condition or makes purpura nephritis relapse. Avoid overworking.
